Yamevi Travel with address in CANCUN, QUINTANA ROO MEXICO AV. TULUM MZ4, LT 18, SM20, L4, and internet portal http://www.yamevitravel.com is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data, and in this regard we inform you of the following:

The responsible for data protection is Yamevi Travel. The personal data collected are: name, surname, telephone number, postal and e-mail address. In case of choosing to pay by credit card we will collect the credit card number, expiration date, card holder's name, and credit card statement address. When booking international flights we will collect the date of birth, passport number and the name and telephone number of a person specified by the customer who will not be traveling on those dates to serve as an emergency contact if necessary. When booking flights with a stopover or final destination in the United States, the nationality and gender of each passenger will be collected.

When booking cruises and tours, the client will be asked for a copy of the passport of all passengers. In case a reservation does not pass the risk verification protocol established by Yamevi Travel, the following information will be requested from the reservation holder: copy of credit card on both sides and copy of an official photo ID on both sides.

For reconciliation of duplicate charges on the customer's credit card and refunds to personal accounts, a copy of the account statement will be requested.

This information is collected and stored when you choose to make a reservation with Yamevi Travel via the internet, telephone, in person or in writing.

This Privacy Notice based on Article 10 section IV of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), is intended to fulfill the obligations arising from the legal relationship between the owner of the data and Yamevi Travel.

The holder will be able to manifest his refusal to the treatment of his personal data for those purposes that are not necessary or that gave origin to the relation between the client and Yamevi Travel by means of the procedures of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition that are described in the present Notice of Privacy.

Non-personal information: Cookies are text files that are automatically downloaded and stored in the hard disk of the user's computer equipment when navigating in a specific Internet page, which allow the Internet server to remember some information about the user, among them, his preferences for the visualization of the pages in that server.

Web beacons are images inserted in an Internet page or email, which can be used to monitor the behavior of a visitor, such as storing information about the user's IP address, duration of interaction time on that page and the type of browser used, among others.

We collect and store non-personal information automatically each time you log in to Yamevi TRAVEL. This information is collected and used only to make constant improvements to the service provided to our customers. How your data is used. The data you provide will be used for the following purposes:

  • Process, complete, update, modify, cancel or print the services you have contracted through RVM Travel by the following means: electronic, telephone, in person or in writing.
  • Sending notifications via email exclusively to inform about changes or events related to your travel itinerary: confirmation of the contracted services, modifications, cancellations, refunds, balances and invitations to evaluate or give your opinion about the contracted services and the service received from Yamevi Travel, its employees or representatives.
  • Telephone calls to verify operations or transactions made via internet, telephone or in person if Yamevi Travel or its representatives deem it necessary.
  • Phone calls to request documents to establish the identity of the customer or credit card holder if Yamevi Travel deems it necessary.
  • To receive travel offers by email if you agreed to subscribe to our newsletter electronically, by phone, in person or in writing. In each email sent by Yamevi Travel there is a link to unsubscribe from the newsletter if you wish to do so.
  • To maintain and constantly update databases that generate statistics that allow Yamevi Travel to improve the services that our customers receive.

Limit of use and disclosure of informationOnly Yamevi Travel has access to the information collected (exclusively the holder's email) when you subscribe to our program of promotions, offers or services via email. Our emails may include offers from third parties that are business partners, suppliers or affiliated companies of Yamevi Travel. The messages or promotional notices are sent only and exclusively to those who have accepted to subscribe, messages and notices that you can unsubscribe from your email at any time by clicking on the link that appears for this purpose in each message we send.

How we protect your personal dataYamevi Travel has implemented a sophisticated security system to protect our customers' information from unauthorized access. Our systems are configured with data encryption and encoding technologies built with the best industry standards. All data transmissions from Yamevi Travel sites are encrypted before being sent using SSL-3 technology.

How you can have access to your personal dataThe Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals establishes 4 actions that you have the right to exercise over the personal data you provide: (i) access to your personal data to know the details of their treatment,(ii) as well as to rectify them in case they are inaccurate, incorrect or outdated; (ii) cancellation when you consider that they are not required for any of the purposes indicated in this privacy notice, or are being used for non-consensual purposes or the contractual or service relationship has ended, or, (iv) opposition to the treatment of the same for specific purposes (known as ARCO rights).

If you need access to the personal data you provided, please send a request to info@yamevitravel.com with the following:

  • Full name and phone or address
  • Copy of an official identification with photo or that accredits you as the owner of the data to which you wish to access or, if applicable, as the legal representative of the owner.
  • Specify the treatment you want to be done with the personal data collected.
  • Locator number. With this information we can quickly find your data.

Yamevi Travel will communicate to the holder by email, within a maximum period of twenty days, counted from the date on which the request for access, rectification, cancellation or opposition was received, the determination adopted, in order that, if it is appropriate, the same is made effective within fifteen days from the date on which the response is communicated. In the case of requests for access to personal data, the delivery shall be made upon proof of the identity of the applicant or legal representative, as the case may be.

The aforementioned terms may be extended only once for an equal period, provided that the circumstances of the case so justify.

Data transfersThe personal data you provide at the time of booking are shared with suppliers or affiliated companies with which you contracted to process and complete the services you purchased through Yamevi Travel. We never transfer personal data to persons or companies outside Yamevi Travel. The information that is transmitted to suppliers or affiliated companies with which you contracted, depend on the service you booked:

  • Hotel, transfers, tours and bus tickets: your name and surname are transferred exclusively to the supplier.
  • Flights that do not have a stopover or final destination in the United States: only your first and last name is transferred to the airline.
  • For flights with a stopover or final destination in the United States, only your full name, date of birth and gender are transferred to the U.S. Government Transportation and Security Administration.
  • For car rental reservations, only your first name, last name and address are transferred.
  • Cruises: name, surname and passport number.
  • Circuitos de viaje: nombre, apellidos y copia del pasaporte.

The purpose of the transmission of the data listed above is necessary for the existence and fulfillment of the legal relationship between the client and RVM Travel.

The holder may express its refusal prior to the processing of their personal data through the procedure described in this Privacy Notice, or the holder will have a period of five days to, if applicable, express its refusal for the processing of their personal data for purposes other than those that are necessary and give rise to the legal relationship between Yamevi Travel and the owner of the data. If the owner does not express his refusal for the processing of his data in accordance with the above, it will be understood that he has given his consent for the processing of the same, unless proven otherwise.

Changes to this Privacy Notice Yamevi Travel reserves the right to modify or change this Privacy Notice if necessary. Changes become effective at the time they are posted on any of its websites.

By processing reservations with Yamevi Travel, its representatives or affiliates via electronic, telephone, in person or in writing, the owner of the data accepts this Privacy Notice. If the user uses the services of http://www.yamevitravel.com, it means that he/she has read, understood and accepted the above terms.
